- Cienega Creek Adventure: Saturday, April 18, 9:30 — 11:30 a.m., at Cienega Creek Natural Preserve.

- Who Dung It?: Saturday, May 16, 9:30 — 11:30 a.m. in the Ed. Annex Classrooms 1–2 and around grounds.
- Although it may be difficult to see some desert animals, they do leave many clues behind. The challenge is to figure out who left those clues. From tracks to scat, we’ll learn to read these clues and become desert detectives to help solve the mystery of just who “dung it” in the desert.
- Saguaro Harvest: Saturday, June 27, 8:00 — 10:30 a.m. in the Ed. Annex Classrooms 1–2 and around grounds.
- Happy New Year! That’s right — the saguaro fruit harvest marks the beginning of the new year for the Tohono O'odham, the Desert People. We will learn how to harvest the fruit and recognize this special plant’s significance with expert guidance from our Tohono O'odham friends. We will also explore some of the important relationships the saguaro has with desert animals and plants. (*Note earlier start time — it’s best to be active in the cooler hours!)
