Catch the wave and join us for the last Cool Summer Night of the Season! We’re celebrating Teachers and Support Staff with a splashy Back-to-School Beach Bash.
Throw on your best beachwear and help us turn this night into a tidal wave of fun. Think breezy shirts, flip flops, board shorts, and anything that says salty air and summer flair. Let us treat you to a night of seaside-style fun in the desert! Bring your flashlight and explore, grab a local beer and wander, experience a live animal encounter, scamper in Packrat Playhouse, and feel the touch of a stingray.

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra invites you to join us for a fun night where you pretend to be part of the orchestra! With our instrument petting zoo, children and adults of all ages can test their musical abilities by picking up new instruments and playing a few notes. We also look forward to introducing you to our upcoming season filled with music for everyone!
Founded in 1928 as the Southwest’s first professional symphony, the TSO is Arizona’s longest-running arts organization. Our mission: Build and enrich communities through exceptional live music. Under Music Director José Luis Gomez since 2016, we celebrate our region’s heritage, fostering connections through music for all in Tucson and southern Arizona.

- 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. Stingray Touch Exhibit
- Summertime isn’t complete without a trip to the pool! Dip your hands in the water and experience the touch of a stingray. $4.00/person, $2.00/Museum members, free for teachers and support staff.
- 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Packrat Playhouse
- This indoor play space allows children to discover the desert through the eyes of a packrat! Packrat Playhouse may reach capacity. 30-minute reserved play times are available at the Packrat Playhouse entrance.
- 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Art Exhibits
- Make sure to check out the current art exhibits in the Ironwood Gallery and the Baldwin Education Building!
